Q&A
Q: Can men use it?
A: Yes. Dry head spa is available to both men and women, so anyone can use it as long as there are no contraindications in the terms of use.
In fact, our store has a roughly half-half male to female ratio, and we have customers of a wide range of ages, from their 20s to their 70s.
Q: Can pregnant women use this service?
A: No. Head massages are contraindicated for pregnant women, so for safety reasons we do not offer treatments to pregnant women.
It is easy to become sleep deprived after giving birth, so we hope you will take advantage of this service.
Q: Can I use it as a pair?
A, Since we are a one-on-one salon with only one seat, your companion will be treated at different times. There is also a beauty salon on the same floor offering eyelash extensions, nail treatments, facials, hair removal, etc., so you can use those while you wait.
*If you are interested, we will introduce you to someone, so please feel free to contact us.
Q: Can people with disabilities use it?
A: Yes. It depends on the extent of the use, but as long as there are no restrictions in the terms of use, anyone can use it.
(For example, we accommodate wheelchair users, visually impaired people, and hearing impaired people, and we would like to be flexible in accommodating other needs as well.)
Q: Can you tell me more about wheelchair access?
A, A ramp can be arranged on the first floor if you make a reservation in advance by 5:00 p.m. on weekdays. Please make a reservation well in advance and be sure to bring a caregiver with you. Our staff are not certified in welfare, so we cannot accommodate customers without a caregiver. Due to the passageway at the first floor entrance, only wheelchairs with a small maneuverability of about 60 cm in width can pass through. Unfortunately, there is a staircase in front of the building entrance to the underground passageway in the station, so please come from the ground. The store is designed to be barrier-free while saving space, and wheelchairs can be placed in front of the treatment chair. The seat height is almost the same as that of a wheelchair. The restroom is not wheelchair accessible, so we recommend that you use it in advance. We conduct advance verification under the supervision of a certified care worker, and all caregivers have actually used it repeatedly.
Q: I would like to know the phone number?
A: We are unable to respond during treatment, so our phone number will not be made public .
If you are interested, please contact us via email or our official LINE account.
Q: Are you understanding of LGBTQ?
A: Yes. I know people like that, and I think they are very understanding. You can be yourself!
Q: Are there any weight restrictions?
A: Yes. The treatment bed is limited to 100kg. If you weigh more than that, please refrain from using the service.
(※The treatment will be performed while lying on your back in a reclining chair. Like at a body care salon, you will be asked to lie face down on the bed.
Because this treatment method does not involve applying body weight pressure, it may be difficult to treat areas such as the back or neck for those with a lot of fat.
Q: Is there a change of clothes?
A: We can lend you treatment clothes if necessary, but as a general rule, we will treat you in the clothes you are wearing when you arrive at the salon.
Please refrain from wearing hoodies or other outerwear that may interfere with treatment around the neck, and please wear comfortable clothing as much as possible.
Q: Will my hair be messed up after the treatment?
A: It depends on the styling products you use, but we try our best to avoid hair tangles. We offer a full range of after-sales services, including styling products and hair set amenities, so please rest assured.
*Hard wax, gels, and other styling products are not suitable for treatment, so please style lightly when you come to the salon.
Q: What is your policy regarding the amount of force used?
A: We are not a massage parlor that offers strong massage. We provide appropriate shiatsu massage based on anatomy and neuroscience within the scope of relaxation.
Our customers say that it is just right, but as senses and preferences vary from person to person, we recommend that you try it once to make your own judgment.
Q: What kind of people would you recommend this to? Conversely, is there any type of person it is not suitable for?
A: It is recommended for those who suffer from brain-related disorders such as autonomic nervous system disorders, brain fatigue, eye strain, poor sleep, and headaches, and for those who want to relax.
Because our salon performs treatments while lying on your back on a reclining sofa, it is not suitable for people who want to lie face down and have their back and buttocks massaged while body weight is applied, as in a body care salon, or for people who want treatment on the back of a large amount of fat or who want strong pressure.
Q: I heard that dry head spa helps you sleep. Is that true?
A: By sending pleasant signals to the brain, we adjust the brainwaves and induce a deep state of relaxation, so 90% of our clients experience sleepiness. However, it also depends on the client’s physical and mental state, so there are individual differences in response to the same treatment.
(For example, if your brain is in an excited state because of an emotional experience before coming to the store, you will likely not be able to get a deep sleep.)
There are stages in brain relaxation, and the area known as the "meditative state" (theta waves), where the body is switched off but the brain is awake and sleepy, is said to be effective, so we do not place much importance on "sleep at the time of visit." *You can expect a significant improvement in the quality of your sleep after treatment.
Q: Is dry head spa effective for headaches?
A: As we do not perform medical procedures such as diagnosis or treatment, we are legally unable to make any assertions or statements about the effectiveness of our treatments. However, based on our experience treating many customers as a dry head spa specialist and receiving feedback from customers who suffer from headaches, we believe that it may be effective in preventing headaches. There are also self-care methods published by the Japanese Headache Society and world-famous headache specialists, so we ask about your symptoms and provide appropriate advice after treatment.
(*Please do not overuse over-the-counter medications as this can lead to medication-induced headaches. Use medications appropriately and according to your doctor's instructions.)
Q: What is the recommended frequency for visiting?
A: When you first start your treatment or when you tend to get tired easily, we recommend once every two weeks.
Many of our regular customers come in once every two weeks to once a month.
Q: Are you hiring?
A: We plan to recruit from July 2025 onwards (only those with treatment experience. 1 day a week or shorter working hours are OK).
If you have clients, we may be able to expedite the hiring process, so please contact us.
Q:Is there a school?
A: From the perspective of employment support, we are considering setting up a school in the future, but for the time being we plan to offer it only to those who are hired, on a paid basis.
For any other questions, please contact us directly.
