Q&A

Q: Can men use it?

A: Yes. Dry head spa is available to everyone, regardless of gender, as long as you do not fall under any of the contraindications listed in the terms of service.

In fact, our store has roughly an equal ratio of male and female customers, and we serve a wide range of ages, from people in their 20s to those in their 70s.

Q: Can pregnant women use this service?

A. No. Head massages are contraindicated for pregnant women, so for safety reasons, we decline to perform treatments on pregnant women.

Postpartum sleep deprivation is common, so we hope you will take advantage of our services.

Q: Can I use it as a pair?

A. As this is a one-on-one salon with only one seat, any accompanying guests will receive their treatments at different times. There are also other beauty salons on the same floor offering services such as eyelash extensions, nails, facials, and hair removal, so you can use those services while you wait.

*If you are interested, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to introduce you to someone.

Q: Can people with disabilities use it?

A: Yes. Depending on the extent, as long as it does not fall under any of the prohibited items in the terms of service, basically anyone can use it.

(For example, we accommodate wheelchair users, visually impaired individuals, and hearing-impaired individuals, and we would like to be flexible in accommodating other needs as well.)

Q: Can you tell me more about wheelchair access?

Q: Are you understanding of LGBTQ?

A: Yes. I know people like that, and I think they are very understanding. It's okay to be yourself!

Q: Are there any weight restrictions?

A: Yes. Due to limitations of the treatment bed, the maximum weight is 100kg. We apologize, but if you weigh more than that, please refrain from using our services.

(*The treatment will be performed with you lying face up in a reclining chair. Unlike in a body care salon, you will lie face down on a bed.)

Since this treatment method does not involve applying body weight pressure, it may be difficult to treat the back and neck of individuals with a lot of body fat.

Q: Is there a change of clothes?

A. Normally, we perform treatments while you are wearing the clothes you arrived in, but we can lend you a treatment gown if needed.

Please refrain from wearing outerwear such as hoodies that may interfere with the treatment around your neck, and come in comfortable clothing that allows you to relax as much as possible.

Q: I would like to know the phone number?

A. We are unable to answer calls during treatments, so our phone number is not publicly available.

If you are interested, please contact us via email or our official LINE account.

Q: Will my hair be messed up after the treatment?

A. While it depends on the styling products you use, we take great care to minimize bedhead during the treatment. We offer comprehensive after-sales service, including styling products and hair setting supplies, so please rest assured.

*Please note that styling products such as hard wax and gel are not suitable for this treatment, so please style your hair lightly before coming to the salon.

Q: What is your policy regarding the amount of force used?

A. Our shop is not a deep tissue massage shop. We provide appropriate acupressure based on anatomy and neuroscience, within the realm of relaxation.

Customers often say it's "just right," but since individual perceptions and preferences vary, we encourage you to try it yourself and decide for yourself.

Q: What kind of people would you recommend this to? Conversely, is there any type of person it is not suitable for?

A. Recommended for those suffering from autonomic nervous system imbalances, brain fatigue, eye strain, sleep problems, headaches, and other brain-related ailments, as well as those who want to relax.

Our salon performs treatments with clients lying face up on reclining sofas. Therefore, we are not suitable for those who want to lie face down and have their back and buttocks massaged with body weight pressure, as is common in body care salons, or for those with a lot of body fat who want treatment on their back, or those who prefer strong pressure.

Q: I heard that dry head spa helps you sleep. Is that true?

A. By sending pleasant signals to the brain, we adjust brainwaves and induce a deep state of relaxation, so approximately 90% of our clients fall asleep. However, this depends on the client's physical and mental state, so even with the same treatment, there will be individual differences in response.

(For example, if you've had an emotionally charged experience before coming to the store and your brain is in an excited state, you're less likely to fall into a deep sleep.)

Brain relaxation has stages, and the area known as the "meditative state" (theta waves), where the body is switched off but the brain is awake, is said to be effective. Therefore, we do not place much importance on "sleep upon arrival" at our salon. *However, you can expect a significant improvement in sleep quality after the treatment.

Q: Is dry head spa effective for headaches?

A. Our salon does not perform medical procedures such as diagnosis or treatment, so we are legally unable to make definitive statements or specifications regarding the effectiveness of our treatments. However, based on our experience treating many customers as a dry head spa specialist and receiving feedback from customers suffering from headaches, we believe that it may be effective in prevention. There are also self-care methods published by the Japanese Headache Society and world-renowned headache specialists, so we will ask about your symptoms and provide appropriate advice after the treatment.

(※Please absolutely refrain from abusing over-the-counter medications, as this can lead to medication-induced headaches. Use medications appropriately, following your doctor's instructions regarding dosage and usage.)

Q: What is the recommended frequency for visiting?

A. When you first start receiving care, or during periods when you tend to accumulate fatigue, we recommend a pace of once every two weeks.

Many of our regular customers visit us every two weeks to once a month.

Q: Are you hiring?

A: Yes. We are currently recruiting people with experience in treatment on a contract basis (complete commission system). Working from one day a week to part-time work is OK. If you are interested, please contact us. *If you have no experience, please contact us after gaining at least one year of experience.

Q:Is there a school?

A: Yes. Courses are available from 1 day and are completely customized. We can also provide on-site training and support for accommodation costs for those living far away.

First, please tell us about your current situation and future prospects during a free consultation.

For any other questions, please contact us directly.
